Suffix Registrations

Suffix registrations were released in 1962 when the DVLA realised that the dateless variety would run out eventually. They opted for a format of 3 letters, up to 3 numbers and then a year identifier as a letter. Certain suffixes were left out - I, O, U, Q and Z which gives 21 years worth of releases.
